Our tropical oils, used in the Exotic Oils Moisturizing Serum, come largely from the Amazonian forest of Peru. Indigenous peoples have used them for centuries in their beauty rituals. These oils are harvested in an artisanal manner by agricultural producers from communities in the Amazon rainforest. Based on this fact, Runak works with the largest Peruvian supplier of precious oils from the Amazon which takes care of verifying the record of each oil from planting, harvesting and supply, carrying out good quality practices (process of quality production and product safety), traceability, fair trade and organic trade . In short, our supplier has been working since 2014 with the Natural Regeneration Protection Program with the aim of conserving the region's forests with three other associations whose objective has been to stop deforestation in almost 20,000 hectares of Amazonia. which are currently administered sustainably through conservation concessions which guarantee respect for biodiversity and strengthen conservation work in these regions. This is why Runak is proud to use these Amazonian oils in its beauty products.
