5 little tips for well-hydrated skin in winter
January 17, 2022
Now that the coldseason is here, sometimes we need a little extra help with hydration!
Here are some little tips to do:
1) Drink plenty of water.
Our body needs to rehydrate because it loses around 2 liters of water per day. With heating at home or in the office, especially on colder days, the temperature is higher, so our body loses water.
2) Oil your face and body. This way we avoid dehydration and respect the skin's balance. In addition, an oil rich in antioxidant active ingredients , nutrients and vitamins is our skin 's best friend for successful treatment. Little advice, do it right after showering or bathing.
3) Exfoliate the skin.
The constant changes in temperature cause changes to theskin , including flaking, dryness, cracks. Exfoliation allows our beauty treatments to be well absorbed so that our skin is nourished, hydrated and healthy.
4) Let's not forget our hands . Hands are most exposed to temperature changes and "attacks" due to chemicals, excessive washing, hot water, the application of sanitizing products and/or alcohol.
Advice: Exfoliate twice a week and apply a moisturizing, softening , healing and protective treatment two or three times a day.
5) Protect lips . The skin on the lips is very thin and tends to deteriorate quickly, especially in winter. So, we must protect them with products designed for this purpose rich in emollient, softening and regenerating active ingredients. We also recommend exfoliating them once or twice a week.
We suggest instead using balms (see below) and oils which will instantly provide a feeling of comfort and softness to our skin.
